Lead Note Displacement - Two-Bar Phrase (16ths)

Let's take a look at a lead phrase that has a bit more musical depth. You'll start to recognize how the "hills and valleys" of a phrase that has a typical starting and ending point takes on a life of it's own when applying this rhythmic shift.

By shaving off a note in the starting position of bar one, we'll also be eliminating one 16th note at a time in bar two before resolving to D. This is to further demonstrate the purpose of this creative tool, rather than leaving extra notes behind.

Remember, the objective of this lesson is to experiment with displacement using your own lines and passages to create something new and fresh.
